as if our lives were a book.
and sometimes it is hard
not to want to flip back
to old pages
just to make sure
that everything up to where you are now
is where you are supposed to be
and that everything before
is just as it was and will remain unchanged
no matter how many times
you go back
the story remains the same:
once upon a time you were 19
and it was July
and you believed in meant-to-be's...
What's one to do when, flipping back, one discovers those pages have been chewed though by the bookworm of time leaving you with only a few fleeting letters to ponder over and a vague impression of what was once there, eclipsed only by an even vaguer feeling of loss...
